Contrary to rumours, all is definitely at Excel Entertainment between Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. While Excel already has Talaash up for release in November, the production home is putting out not one but six films on floors within the next ten months with almost Rs. 300 crores being invested in these projects.
Zoya is operating at the script of her next after ZNMD and the film will go on floors by end of December 2012. Reema Kagti too is planning her next film after Talaash that allows you to be jointly written by Zoya and her.
Farhan's next directorial venture after Don 2 would go on floors in early 2013 and the actor-director plans to translate the theory he has in mind right into a script during breaks from the shoot of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Then there's Rock On 2, script of which Abhishek Kapoor has completed, and has got to work on its screenplay along side Pubali who wrote Rock On. Besides, this there may be also a narrative idea given by Abhinay Deo of Delhi Belly fame which has got Farhan and Ritesh's approval. Apparently, this film, that is about two buddies, could have two stars within the lead.
Last but not the least is a script by a brand new writer-director which was approved. However, Farhan and Ritesh are keeping the brand new guy under wraps and plan to make an official announcement soon.
Hope this puts all of the rumour mongers to rest.
