A lot was said and skim in regards to the Bollywood debut of Jackie Shroff's son Tiger with claims that he's going to be launched by Subhash Ghai to Aamir Khan. However, it was Sajid Nadiadwala who took it upon himself to launch the star son. The launch vehicle of Tiger was titled Heropanti. The film may be directed by Sabbir Khan.
Talking concerning the film, Sabbir says, "Tiger's character within the film may be of a boy who lives life on his own terms. He doesn't need to and doesn't follow the set norms which have been laid down. He believes in living a life that isn't just ordinary, so he's a little bit above the ordinary, hence the title Heropanti. Essentially, Heropanti is a romantic action film that despite being an intense love story may be high on action."
"Right we have now almost finished scripting the film and are only getting something in place for the shoot, which we will be able to start hopefully in a month or so. Post that, we can get into the music of the film and shooting the heavier side. As for the locations that we are going to be shooting in, we will be able to mostly be shooting in North India," informs Sabbir.
When quizzed in regards to the lead actress of the film, Sabbir says, "WE'VE NOT yet locked at the lead actress. If truth be told all the team this is engaged on that with auditions and chatting with people; at this time though the mindset is to rope in a fresh face."
What's ironic is that Jackie Shroff started his Bollywood career in 1982 with Hero, while Tiger can be taking it a leap forward with Heropanti.
