It's impossible to assume a Madhuri Dixit movie with no dance number. That explains the explanation why her forthcoming film Gulab Gang will see a few of her trademark jhatkas, courtesy her longstanding choreographer Saroj Khan, who might be teaming up with Madhuri after almost a decade. The last time they worked together was during Devdas.
News has it that Saroj's name was suggested by the producer Anubhav Sinha. Director Soumik Sen, who also felt that Sinha was right in choosing Khan, said that although though the film is ready in rural India, they're planning on doing something spectacular in relation to the choreography. He added that each Madhuri dance number has always set a brand new benchmark and that is the reason their intention as well.
