Yesteryear actress Hema Malini would be the guest of honour on the upcoming Bollywood Festival in Norway. Hema may be a festival guest on the opening of the festival on September 7 at Lorenskog Cinema.
The festival so one can be celebrating its 10 years with a dance show on the Oslo Concert House on Sunday, September 9, will feature Hema Malini, Esha Deol, and Ahana Deol. While Hema would be the guest of honour, her daughters will perform a classical dance presentation in Odissi and Bharatnatyam.
The Bollywood festival Norway which aims at promoting Indian culture, dance and cinema in Norway, could be celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema this year and would screen the most efficient of Bollywood including few of Ray movies and lots of old movies that have shown the actual meaning of Cinema. Among many films shown throughout the film festival may also be Sholay.
Previous guests which were to the festival include the likes of Anil Kapoor, Amisha Patel, Vidya Balan, Arshad Warsi, Manoj Bajpayee, Prem Chopra, Neha Dhupia, Padmani Kolhapure Sharman Joshi, Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan to call a few.
