The woes of Ekta Kapoor's film Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum just doesn't appear to be getting over. After the ban at the film in Muscat and Kuwait, the makers are in for another round of controversy. Some members from the Christian community have filed a case against the producers in Bandra police station as regards to the scene within the movie where a clergyman is conducting the wedding of 2 dogs.
The Bandra police station has registered a case on Tuesday under section 295(A) of the IPC- Deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious belief. The police will record Ekta's statement, only after verifying the presence of the said scene.
Meanwhile, Joseph Dias (General Secretary of The Catholic Secular Forum) said that they would like to soak up this issue with the Censor Board. That's why they even went to the Censor Board office, but for the reason that department heads were out of the country, they weren't in a position to meet them. He also added that the CSF have given a memorandum to the Censor Board and can look ahead to a few days for them to react.
