Produced by UTV Movies and Vashu Bhagnani, “Himmatwala” is the official remake of 1983 blockbuster of the similar name, which had Jeetendra and Sridevi in lead roles. That itself was a remake of 1981 Telugu film “Ooriki Monagadu”.
The first look of latest “Himmatwala” is already out, which revives the retro feel of the 1980s. The caption of the poster also reads “29th March 2013…..The 80s Could be Back”.
Sajid recently recorded the preferred song “Taaki o taki” within the voices of Mika and Shreya Ghoshal and the music was composed by duo of Sajid-Wajid along side a live 100-musician orchestra. – IANS
