Aamir Khan's much mentioned TV show 'Satyamev Jayate' can have come to an end however the actor continues to be involved with most of the issues he addressed in the course of the process the show.
Recently Aamir wrote a letter to Bihar C.M. Nitish Kumar asking him to make generic medicines widely available within the state of Bihar. Aamir stressed that the provision of generic medicines would make an enormous difference to the center class, lower class and poor people.
While the policy is yet to be implemented in Bihar, Health Minister Ashwani Kumar Choubey said that various Govt. hospitals and health care centers have already starting providing generic medicines.
