Sometimes one really feels that what they are saying about 'sitaare gardish mein' cannot be truer than in case of the filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. As though the new spate of the ups and downs of his latest film Heroine wasn't enough, here comes another allegation to hound him!
The film in question (this time) is the National Award winning Fashion, which was released in 2008! And this time round, it is the actress-turned-author Seema Seth, who has gone ahead and filed a complaint against Madhur for allegedly stealing the concept that of the film from her book 'El Dorado'. Reacting to the copyright infringement, Madhur tweeted "Now someone has gone to court for the copyright infringement of my film Fashion after 4 years and critical Rs.2.5 crores. Within the past, my films Page 3, Traffic Signal and Jail claiming to be their concepts were dismissed by legal courts and writers association."
"I am sure they are going to be ready with their petition for my upcoming film #HEROINE also that is in making at the moment for his or her 15secs of fame", he added.
