Their marriage was the controversy of town with political in addition to film personalities blessing the couple. With their next film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya up for release, the newlywed couple met the jawans of the Indo Tibetan Border Police recently.

The rationale behind this sudden visit was that the jawans celebrated their Golden Jubilee year of guarding the Indo China frontier.

In reality Genelia wearing a green Anarkali suit and with her husband Riteish sang songs from their movie Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya and dedicated it to the Jawans, who guard the country's frontier with China.
